Once you've completed your first vehicle registration with visitor.us, you can access your vehicle's details - and the details of any additional vehicles you register - from the Vehicles tab in your dashboard.
Finding your vehicle
In the visitor.us dashboard, click the Vehicles tab in the sidebar. You'll see a list of cards, one per vehicle, each showing the vehicle's year, make, and model.
Click the View button on a vehicle's card to open its details page.
What's on the per-vehicle page
The per-vehicle page summarizes everything visitor.us has on file for that vehicle. Sections include:
Registration - your current Montana registration document, registration number, and expiration date, as well as a downloadable and printable image of your registration document (For permanent registrations, the expiration date displays 12/31/9999.)
Plates - your current Montana license plate number and a downloadable image of your license plates.
Montana Title - your Montana title number and a downloadable image of the title. Before the title arrives at visitor.us, this section shows an "Awaiting title issuance" placeholder.
Registration Renewals - a stacked list of all the renewal orders you've placed for this vehicle, oldest at the top. Each entry shows the renewal order number, date, and a downloadable image of the renewed registration document and decal.
Timeline - a per-vehicle event log showing key milestones (vehicle submitted, MV1 signed, plates issued, title received, renewals placed, etc.).
Placeholder states before items are issued
If you're still mid-registration, some sections will show placeholders instead of actual data:
"Awaiting registration" - before your Montana registration is issued
"Awaiting title issuance" - before Montana issues your Montana title (typically about 30 days after registration)
The placeholders resolve to actual content once visitor.us receives the corresponding document.
Renewing your registration
When your current registration is approaching expiration (within 180 days), a Renew this vehicle's registration button appears on the per-vehicle page. Click it to start a renewal order. See our Registration Renewal article for the full renewal process.
After you place a renewal order, the new renewal appears as a new entry at the top of the Registration Renewals sub-panel.
Adding another vehicle
From the Vehicles tab, you'll see a Want to register another vehicle? callout below your vehicle list.
