After receiving your vehicle's prior title, the License Plates and Registration status will display an expected completion date:
We will register your vehicle within 10 days of receiving your vehicle's properly signed prior title.
Errors on your prior title may result in a delay.
When we complete registration, we will upload images of your Montana license plates and registration document to the visitor.us dashboard, and we’ll send you an email notification.
After your license plates and registration have been uploaded, you will see these items' details, and links to their images, in the License Plates and Registration element:
